ServSafe Information

Class Offerings

Nationally recognized ServSafe training and testing is conducted by the Culinary Business Academy at various times throughout the year. Individuals are required to enroll a minimum of 30 days prior to the class session. Study materials will be sent and mandatory review must take place prior to the class. The class will consist of one full day of training and review, followed by a written test. Results will be available approximately two weeks following the test. Successful completion will result in a ServSafe safe food handlers license valid for a five year period. This license can be renewed during the fifth year through repeating the training and testing cycle.

  • Cost of the ServSafe program is $200, which includes materials, training and testing
  • There are no prerequisites to attend this program.
  • Program will be conducted at the Culinary Business Academy campus located in Rio Rancho, NM.
